1960 Land Rover Restoration

This is just a simple pictorial history of my restoration of an original Canadian-import 1960 Land Rover Series 2 88" (or SWB - Short Wheel Base), LHD (Left Hand Drive) which I purchased in August, 2010. Later posts include photos of some of the things I've done with the vehicle since its restoration was essentially completed, although repairs and other maintenance are obviously an ongoing process. Departed Friend.

Just a little mention of my friend for 16 years, Bondi, who passed away last week. He was never happier than when in and around the Land Rover during the restoration, purring away, always appearing to be excited to be able to participate. He will be very much missed.
