For some reason known only to my phone, it took some pics in black and white today (I suspect cold weather and clumsy fingers). Windy with some blowing snow, a beautiful day to be out and about.
This is just a simple pictorial history of my restoration of an original Canadian-import 1960 Land Rover Series 2 88" (or SWB - Short Wheel Base), LHD (Left Hand Drive) which I purchased in August, 2010. Later posts include photos of some of the things I've done with the vehicle since its restoration was essentially completed, although repairs and other maintenance are obviously an ongoing process. Words in orange are links. Click the photos to make them full size. Search using box below.
Black and white isn't so bad... lends an artsy feel to things. Glad to hear the Series II is still going well. Any repairs/upgrades recently?

In about 10 years of regular use, summer and winter, nothing to repair so far (touch wood). Only upgrades planned (but with no specific time in mind) are a canvas top. Next oil change it'll get a modern screw-on oil filer adapter, just to avoid all the usual mess - but can still be returned to original configuration at any time.
