This is just a simple pictorial history of my restoration of an original Canadian-import 1960 Land Rover Series 2 88" (or SWB - Short Wheel Base), LHD (Left Hand Drive) which I purchased in August, 2010. Later posts include photos of some of the things I've done with the vehicle since its restoration was essentially completed, although repairs and other maintenance are obviously an ongoing process. Summer Get-together
I think the image (in the orange box) says everything that needs to be said. Except, of course, if I can humbly mention that my Series isn't a 2a - it's just a 2! Nice get-together, and thanks go to Robin for organizing everything.
A Series 2 restoration running since 2010 - that's dedication! The summer get-together sounds like a great way to keep the Land Rover community spirit alive.
